Basalt Fiber Rope
Basalt fiber rope is a high-performance sealing material for pump, valve and pipe joint, preventing leakage of
chemical gas and liquid, especially of some high-temperature, high-pressure, acid-corrosive or
alkali-corrosive gas and liquid. Our main products are various round, square and twisted ropes, etc.
Application Examples:
1)Used in door, cover board, manhole and handhole of high-temperature or high-pressure kiln, jar, caldron;
2)Used for moving sealing material, with compressibility, high rebound resilience and low friction coefficient.
3)Good acid&alkali&salt resistance when parts joint use it to transmit corrosive media.
4)Basalt fiber rope, twisted by 6μm basalt fiber yarn, has high strength, small tensile stretch, good heat
resistance and insulation.By adding a protective surface layer of polyester fiber, PTFE or rubber, the problem
of wear resistance has been solved. It can be used in binding motor coil or as protective noose when
lifting in deep shaft.
